So Coudal.com is one of my all time favorite entities on the web.
If I had the gusto to go with ambitions, I'd invent some sort of alternate universe where I worked in that firm.
The work they've done, the work they highlight and the fun they have in between has me glued.
I am upset that P-SHOP Tennis is dead, but it has started many copy-cat communities so I assume it has left an impression on more than just me.
*remember the crumpled leaflet on a telephone pole sumission* I didn't think so but I do.
Anyways they have been having this Booking Bands submission on their site and thank God I'm not bryan@coudal.com . Most entries are good and I figured I could get something up there too.
Here are my entries in this contest where you mash the name of a book with the name of a band.
- How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) : The World According to Anal Cunt
- Qur'an Duran
- Men are from Mars Volta Women are from Venus Envy
- Anasazi Pet Shop Boys
- How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild Cherry, and Got a Life
Guess what Qur'an Duran made it up there! Yea for me!
The prize is a copy of Cast Of Shadows, and a CD Design relating to your winning submission. Now I am sooooo sick of hearing the praises of Cast Of Shadows, but only because I want to read the damned thing already, it sounds fantastic. Had this contest run earlier and I had won I would read it at Martha's Vineyard this Memorial Day weekend. And Again If I was to win, I'd be very grateful for the new Duran Duran album.
Im off to catch the ferry at Woods Hole, peace out chumps. Also for everyone's information:
Do not buy a new living room set when you have enough money, wait until you have more than enough money or you'll realize that Snyders Hot Wing pretzel pieces are out of your price range.
